National Car Share
The UK's longest-established free national car sharing service.
Intunet have powered and maintained National CarShare since 1998 as a free-to-all resource. In mid 2007, the site underwent a thorough re-development and face-lift to meet the growing demand for group and corporate bespoke car sharing schemes.
- Allowing members to offer lifts and specify their sharing preferences directly
- Allowing private messages between users
- Allowing members to list lifts wanted for search by all members
- Automated notifications of new lifts that may be of interest
- Giving the option for organisations to provide their own private car sharing schemes
The new infrastructure for the National CarShare website has been built with the future in mind – expect to see more features coming soon!
